Andy and Cindy Broese Van Groenou, owners of Broese's Uniforms, moved to Eureka from Southern California, with their young family in February of 1991. With a background in law enforcement, Andy came to Eureka to pastor Harvest Church. In addition to pastoring, Andy serves as the Senior Chaplain for the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and oversees the Sheriff's Explorer Program.

Cindy serves as Executive Director of the Pregnancy Care Center of the North Coast, www.pcceureka.org. She has served the PCC for 8 years, beginning as a volunteer. Andy and Cindy celebrated 30 years of marriage on the Grand Opening Day (August 5th) of Broeses's Uniforms. They have four grown children and three grandchildren.

The idea of a uniform shop began in the heart of God, and was given to Andy and Cindy several years ago. In March of 2008, God began giving them a clearer vision. The desire was to serve the Public Safety community in a greater way, as well as provide additional resources for ministry. As they considered the prospect of going forward with opening a business, in the midst of national economic strains, Andy and Cindy proceeded with caution, seeking God's direction in every step. As the plan unfolded, a desired location was found, funding secured, contacts made, and confirmation given. It has truly been a "faith walk" watching God lead the way.
